Based on the data included in the National Report, it appears an increasing trend in day-to-day diagnoses and a small increase, for the time being, in hospitalizations. Moreover, there is an increase in the cumulative impact in all provinces, and especially in Paphos and Famagusta.

In the last 14 days (October 26 - November 8, 2021) 2.528 confirmed cases were recorded COVID-19. The median age of the cases COVID-19 was 35 years old, 51,3% concerns women (n = 1.296), 48,7% men (ν = 1.230), while for two cases there was currently no information available. Based on the epidemiological history, 11% (n = 274) were cases with a recent travel history, while 89% (n = 2.221) concerned cases of domestic transmission - out of 2.485 cases (98,3%) with the relevant information.

On November 10, 2021, 75 people with COVID-19 (diagnosis until November 8) were hospitalized (based on recorded data and including those who were discharged, transported or died that day). Their mean age was 63 years, with 57,3% (n = 43) concerning men and 35,2% (n = 25) persons from the province of Nicosia (from 71 persons with the relevant information available) . In total, 27 (45,8%) people with COVID-19 who underwent treatment reported underlying diseases (from 45 people with relevant information available).

According to the records, on November 10, 2021, 7 people (diagnosed until November 8) were in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) - and all 7 were intubated. The median age of COVID19 patients in ICU was 56 years, while 4 cases (70%) involved women.

In the last 14 days, 60.893 molecular tests (PCR) (6.857,3 per 100.000 population) and 680.508 antigen rapid tests (76.663,8 per 100.000 population) have been performed. As of November 8, 2021, 125.110 cases have been diagnosed in the laboratory COVID-19.
