The knot has reached the scallop for the residents of Dasaki of Achna who are facing serious problems with the nuisance and the stench in the livestock units of the community but also the uncontrolled, as characterized by the local authorities, licensing and installation in their community by the state.

According to Mayor Nikos Vassilas, the Department of Agriculture grants licenses for the operation of livestock units in the community to people in neighboring areas without the consent of the local authority, saying that the plots of land granted belong to the Government and not to the Community.

The result of this situation, explains the Common Leader, is that there is no room left for the installation of livestock units in people living in the community. Therefore, a constant request, as Nikos Vassilas told RIK, is for each Community to acquire its own farm, so that those who do not live in Dasaki can be transferred, on the other hand, they ask the Government to grant the right to the local authorities to approve to whom permission will be granted.

They also express anger and resentment over the issue of stench and nuisance observed by the existence and mismanagement of livestock farms.

According to the Common Leader, in Dasaki, next to residential areas, there are more than 25 farms with a large number of cows and sheep and goats, resulting in huge problems.

In fact, during this period, due to the warm atmosphere, the problems of odor become more intense, with residents complaining that they can not even open the windows of their homes.

According to the residents, in fact, some livestock farmers throw the livestock waste in the open, which, apart from the stench, is a source of germs and a danger to public health.

Finally, the local authorities request the creation of a suitable watertight space for the storage of manure.
