In a post on Facebook, the First Lady, Andri Anastasiadou, states:
"Silently and without drumbeats, Despina Panteli was the tutoring center and the guardian angel of the historic monastery of Apostolos Andreas of Karpasia. Its memory is eternal. We will always remember her with love ".
