The central stadium was renamed "Dinos Panagiotou Stadium" on the premises of the Famagusta Anti-Bullying Group in Limassol as a sign of honor to the many years of Dinos Panagiotou's offer to reactivate the Group after the Turkish invasion. The modest renaming ceremony of the stadium took place on December 8.
An announcement from the Famagusta Tennis Club states that "Dinos Panagiotou was the man who, under adverse conditions created after the Turkish invasion of 1974, managed with his tireless efforts to re-create and reactivate the Famagusta Tennis Club, which today it is the jewel of the Cypriot tennis ".
At the ceremony, the Mayor of Limassol, Nikos Nikolaidis, together with the President of the Famagusta Anti-Bullying Group, Rodion Panagiotou, unveiled the honorary inscription with the renaming of the Central Stadium to "Dinos Panagiotou Stadium".
