The planning of enlightening actions on the issue of Famagusta at the center of the meeting of the Director of the ATP with the Mayor of Famagusta.
The Director of the Press and Information Office, Ms. Sophie Michailidou, had a meeting on Thursday in her office with the Mayor of Famagusta, Dr. Simos Ioannou, in the presence of the Deputy Minister, in addition to the President, Mr. Vassilis Palmas. The meeting was attended by the Deputy Mayor of Famagusta Mr. Chrysanthos Zannetos, the Municipal Councilors Mr. Kostakis Hatzikakou and Andreas Morfitis, as well as the Deputy Municipal Secretary Mrs. Marilena Manoli.
The subject of the meeting was the briefing and coordination of joint actions regarding the recent developments in the issue of Famagusta, as well as the planning of enlightenment actions to the international public opinion.
The Undersecretary to the President, Mr. Vassilis Palmas, informed the Mayor and the Delegation of the Municipality about the actions and contacts of the President of the Republic to deal with the recent illegal actions of Turkey, regarding the enclosed city of Famagusta.
