Continuing his contacts focusing on the threats of Turkey for illegal settlement of Famagusta, the President of the Democratic Alarm Mr. Averof Neophytou met today with members of the Council of EBF Famagusta, accompanied by the Member of Parliament and Vice President Mr. George Mr. Annita Dimitriou, the MPs Mr. George Karoullas and Mr. Onoufrios Koullas, the District Secretary Mr. Nikos Georgiou and the Director of Administration and Organization of the party Mr. George Lysandridis.
After the meeting, the Member of Parliament and Vice President, Mr. Georgiou, stressed the following:
"As a Democratic Alarm, we continue our contacts and consultations with all the organized groups of the province of Famagusta on the threats of Turkey, regarding the settlement of the city. We have heard suggestions, opinions and positions from many bodies and actors. These consultations and contacts will continue and the Democratic Alarm after the so-called elections and in the occupied ones, will codify all these positions, proposals and views and will present its positions and the policy that it will pursue both in the European and in the international space to stop this illegal attempt by occupying Turkey to settle the city of Famagusta ".
