A 34-year-old man is being treated in a serious condition after his injury that occurred this morning in the province of Famagusta.
Specifically, around 9.00 am, while the 34-year-old was in a building under renovation, in the province of Famagusta, under conditions under investigation, he allegedly lost his balance and fell to the ground from an unguarded balcony terrace on the first floor of the building. , 3,6 meters high and injured his head.
The 34-year-old was initially transported by ambulance to the General Hospital of Famagusta, where he was found to have a skull fracture with cerebral hemorrhage and a vertebral fracture.
Due to the seriousness of his health condition, the 34-year-old was then transported to the Nicosia General Hospital where he is being treated.
Members of the Police and an inspector of the Labor Inspection Office went to the scene of the accident where they carried out examinations.
It is being investigated whether the 34-year-old worked in the building under renovation or whether he had gone to the site as a visitor.
The Ayia Napa Police Station, in collaboration with the Labor Office, is investigating the causes of the accident.
