The interest of the international media is centered on Ayia Napa, where for a few days now there have been crews and journalists from Swiss channels.
The Mayor, Christos Zannetos, held today a meeting with the media from Switzerland, Reiseblick, CH Media, Blick (Print & TV), in the presence of the largest Swiss Travel Agent HOTELPLAN.
These media are interested in promoting Ayia Napa through documentaries. In this context, Mr. Zannetos gave an interview about the future course and plans of the Municipality.
At the same time, general information was given to Ayia Napa about the current situation, the management of the pandemic Covid-19 and future actions emphasizing the importance of supporting the Swiss market which is a significant share of the tourism industry of Ayia Napa and Cyprus in general.
The mayor, through his post on Facebook, thanked the channels, both for the interest and for the support and promotion, especially in these difficult times, confirming the important role that Ayia Napa holds in our tourism industry.
