On Tuesday, September 18, at the port of Ayia Napa, a man in front of the Grecian bay hotel was in danger of losing his life by drowning.
The 80-year-old, of Russian origin, was saved due to the timely intervention of the lifeguards of the Municipality of Ayia Napa. Specifically, the man lost consciousness in the water.
It should be noted that the authorities were informed by his wife that the Russian tourist is facing health problems but is out of danger.
The lifeguards provided him with first aid, as a result of which he regained consciousness. His health is out of danger.
