A new incident occurred on a beach in Larnaca province on Thursday afternoon.
According to the Pancyprian Committee of Professional Lifeguards, around 13:30 a minor on Alaminou beach, presented with severe illness and then lost consciousness.
Lifeguards rushed to the spot where they provided her with first aid.
Due to the seriousness of her condition, an ambulance was called for her immediate transfer to Larnaca General Hospital.
The lifeguards' post is as it is:
"Our colleagues responded to a new incident on Alaminou beach in Larnaca province. Specifically, today 19/08 and at approximately 13.30, a minor showed severe malaise and then lost consciousness. Our colleagues rushed to the spot where they provided her with first aid. Due to the seriousness of her condition, an ambulance was called for her immediate transfer to Larnaca General Hospital.
