The fire in Cape Greco is under full control

The fire that broke out at noon on Sunday in the area of ​​Cape Greco, in Agios Saranda, was brought under full control.

According to the Spokesperson of the Cyprus Fire Service, Andrea Ketti, the fire broke out in the area of ​​Agios Sarantos, in acacias and dense wild vegetation.

Six vehicles of the Cyprus Fire Service rushed to the spot, two aircraft with more than 17 firefighters were activated, while the two aircraft of the Forest Department and two of the helicopters of the Republic of Cyprus were thrown into battle.

The area in which the fire broke out belongs to the Department of Forests.
