A delegation of the Municipality of Deryneia is leaving today for the Chania Film Festival where a joint documentary about the Turkish invasion will be screened as part of the cine program.
According to an announcement by the Municipality of Deryneia, a delegation of the Municipality of Deryneia is leaving today, headed by Mayor Andros G. Karagiannis, members of the teaching staff of the XNUMXnd Primary School of Deryneia, the Parents' Association and students of the XNUMXnd Primary School of Deryneia, Chania , where a joint documentary about the Turkish invasion will be screened as part of the cine program.
The participation in the Chania Film Festival is in return for the visit of students of the Cinema Group of the Elementary School of Pazinos and teachers, who managed the issue of the Turkish invasion and the dead zone, through the experiences of people who experienced the Turkish invasion of Cyprus.
The joint film-educational action will be presented at the Chania Film Festival and is supported by various local and national bodies both in Cyprus and in Crete.
The delegation from Deryneia returns to Cyprus on Monday, October 25th.
