Giorgos Stasis, an executive of the Renaissance Deryneia association, passed away at the age of seventy-one.
The funeral will take place on Thursday, 22/02/24, at 15:30, at the church of All Saints in Deryneia.

The list of the dead of the Deryneia Renaissance family, unfortunately, continues to grow. Another member of our Association has passed away at the age of seventy-one. Mr. George Stassi, father of, for many years, our footballers, Tasos Stassi (currently coach of K19), and Andrea Stassi (goalkeeper) and grandfather of the brothers Giorgos and Konstantinos Stassi (currently footballers of our team), left unexpectedly after a short illness.
Kokos o Vezos, as everyone knew him, was characterized by his passion, his vitality and his picturesque smile. A regular visitor to the stands of our football field, he was initially proud of his children and later, his grandchildren.
The Board of Directors of Deryneia Revival expresses its deepest condolences to the family of the deceased. He enjoyed special respect among the sports family of the Renaissance. Courage and strength, our dear Eva.
