A XNUMX-year-old man was arrested yesterday by members of YKAN in Paralimni, after a quantity of cocaine and cannabis were found in his possession.
According to the Police, members of the Drug Control Service arrived in Paralimni yesterday afternoon. During the search, the 17-year-old and his motorcycle were found in possession of 10 nylon bags containing cannabis, weighing a total of about 17 grams, 19 bags containing cocaine, weighing a total of about 19 grams, a precision scales and money.
The 17-year-old was arrested for misdemeanor offenses and was remanded in custody. Later today, he is expected to appear before the Famagusta District Court for the issuance of a detention order.
