In the last 24 hours (from 06.00 on Monday until 06.00 today), 1.748 inspections were carried out by the Police throughout Cyprus, in order to verify the observance of the measures and the implementation of the decrees of the Law on Infectious Diseases.

As a representative of the Communication Branch of the Police Headquarters stated to KYPE, during the inspections, 13 complaints were made by citizens and 16 people in charge of premises.

Regarding the inspections by province, in Nicosia 477 inspections were carried out, out of which 4 complaints of citizens and 10 establishments emerged, in Limassol 115 inspections were carried out, out of which 4 complaints of citizens and 3 establishments emerged, in Larnaca 496 inspections were carried out, of which There were 3 complaints of real estate, in Paphos 110 inspections were carried out, from which a citizen's complaint was made, in Famagusta 389 inspections were carried out, from which 3 citizens' complaints were made, in Morfos area 38 inspections were carried out, from which a citizen complaint was made.

Also, the Cypriot Traffic Police carried out 111 inspections, without any complaints. Of the 1.748 inspections, 12 concerned the Port and Maritime Police, without any complaints.

Answering a question regarding the complaints in premises, the representative of the Communication Branch of the Police Headquarters said that in Nicosia, in 5 premises, an inspection revealed that those responsible were without safepass and were issued out of court in three premises of € 500, in one of € 750, in another of € 1.000, in other premises, it was found from an audit that employees worked without safepass and were issued out of € 1.500 and € 500 and in the other three premises, an audit revealed that people were working without a protective mask and were issued out of € 1.550, € 500, € 1.500.

Regarding the complaints in real estate in Limassol, an audit revealed that employees were without safepass and were issued out of court in one € 1.500 and in the other two € 500.
