A 26-year-old man from the province of Famagusta was arrested yesterday by the Police with a court order.

Against the 26-year-old, 22 cases are being investigated concerning the theft of aluminum doors from homes as well as churches.
The case revealed Famagusta.News from last Wednesday after complaints from the Police.
The thefts were committed between January 16-24, 2019 in free Famagusta.
Specifically, the thefts took place from premises throughout the province of Famagusta, and specifically in Sotira, Frenaros, Liopetri, Avgorou and Ayia Napa.
The arrest was made possible after the cooperation of the Police with citizens.
According to information from the Police, the suspect allegedly intended to sell the aluminum doors to scrap metal collectors.
The Deryneia Police Station continues the examinations.
