PARVINDER SINGH, 6.30 years old from India, lost his life in a new fatal road collision that occurred around 30 yesterday afternoon on the road Liopetriou - Sotiras.

Specifically, according to an announcement by the Police, a car driven by a 43-year-old woman from the province of Famagusta on the above road, under conditions being investigated by the Police, crashed into the back of a bicycle driven by the 30-year-old, who was leading.

The cyclist, who was seriously injured in the collision, was transported by ambulance to the General Hospital of Famagusta, where the doctor on duty confirmed his death.

The driver of the car underwent a breathalyzer test with a negative indication, while from tests performed at the scene, the bike did not have headlights at the front and rear, nor reflective phosphors.

The Famagusta Traffic Police continues the examinations.
