The unjustified delay in the publication of the final Local Plan for the Municipalities of Paralimni-Agia Napa-Deryneia constitutes unequal treatment among the citizens, as stated in his announcement by the MP Kyriakos Hatzigiannis.
In his announcement, the MP states that the existing development plans are different at the moment and for this reason the citizens of each Municipality do not benefit equally.
The MP expresses his concern in the announcement as there is, as he mentions, the possibility of speculation against uninformed citizens who want to sell at the moment, without knowing that the zone to which their property belongs may change later.
He immediately calls on the authorities to expedite the completion and publication of this Local Plan, in order to avoid any exploitation caused by distortions of competition. At the same time, it notes the fixation of the development of the area through the non-existence of Local Plans.
