Omonia and Remedica ENP met in a friendly preparation match in Agios Dometios, with the team of Paralimni winning 67-51.

Omonia only 1/14 three-pointers, which was generally missed (56% two-pointers and 60% shots). Paralimni also won the rebound battle (35-28).

Stakey with 18 points is excellent for the winners, Ingram with 16. Gable with 11 and Garth with 9 are the top scorers of Omonia.

The Union entered the game strongly and led 5-0, thanks to the points of Robinson and Ingram. Omonia tried to react, but Michalis Kakiouzis' team kept its distance until the end of the quarter (12-18).

And while in the first ten minutes, only the Americans of Paralimni found the way to the basket, at the beginning of the second, the Cypriots took the reins. Papadopoulos and Solomou, led Remedica ENP to a difference of 8 points in the middle of the season (20-28). Christos Karabatakis appeared there, giving the signal of the counterattack! With 6 consecutive points of his own, the young forward showed the way to his teammates and a little later Panagidis gave the lead for the first time to the greens (30-29). Paralimni scored with Stakey and Pilakoutas with a well-aimed shot, sent the teams to the locker room tied (31-31).

The third ten minutes did not go as well for the clover, on the contrary it went very well for the crimson. With a partial score of 26-12, the guests who had at that time their leaders Stackey, Koumi and Pyrilli, laid the foundations for the victory (43-57).

Of course, in the last ten minutes, the Paralimnites went to spoil everything, since for more than 5 minutes, they were left without a point (just like in the previous friendly with Keravnos). In the same period, Omonia scored only 3 points (one from Tretyakov and two from Stylianou). Michalis Kakiouzis got a time out, and with the return of his team, he came off aggressively with Stakey's shots. Omonia tried to give everything in the last three minutes for the overthrow, with Garth reducing to 10 (49-59), but Ingram had not said his last word. The American from Paralimni scored 6 consecutive points and cleared the game. Final score 51-67.
