The unanimous decision as approved by the request of the Paralimni Youth Union, for the participation of the team in the OPAP Basket League of the period 2019-2020, was taken by the Board of Directors of the Cyprus Basketball Federation.
In its announcement, KOK states that the General Manager of KOK, Athos Antoniou, stated that “the BoD. of KOK considers that ENP has shown a remarkable course in recent years in the OPAP Basket League, presents administrative and financial stability and has managed to implement together with local agencies the new stadium that is the jewel of the region ".
"Therefore, KOK will issue a wild card to the ENP and the team from Paralimni will participate normally in the new championship, according to the right given in Article 4.2 of the Special Announcement of the Championship", he said.
