The youth that changed Paralimni (and Protaras) forever

"Every end of a beautiful summer always leaves a bittersweet taste with memories and moments that make you reminisce about its indelible beauty." This is how the announcement of the Youth of the Municipality of Paralimni begins to thank all those who honored this year with their presence the unique, special and spectacular events organized by the 6th Summer Film Festival, the Moonwalk and the 1st Beach Tennis tournament. on the beach of Agia Triada.

As mentioned in the thank you announcement, the first tournament “Ayia Trias Beach Tennis Tournament ” seemed almost impossible due to limited processing time. The idyllic location, the hot sun, the will to volunteer were the main ingredients for this sporting event. 

The sequel took place, according to the announcement, in the center of Protaras with the "Protaras Summer Film Festival" in a square flooded with people eager to experience the magic of a special world premiere, one of the most classic musicals entitled "Mamma Mia".

What has now become an institution, once seemed like an ethereal thought in the minds of the young people of Paralimni, where its implementation seemed to have a lot of insurmountable obstacles.

Will, mood and stubbornness were the main cells of this event as the anarchic thought developed and evolved making it a spectacle that delights spectators and volunteers overflowing, giving the necessary touch to be called an institution. This is how the 6th festival arrived this year.

Twenty-six movies in nineteen nights made it more beautiful this summer.

Finale with "Moon Walk". A special walk with 60 professional musicians to accompany us with their music on a route next to the beautiful beaches of Protaras culminating in the concert of "Imam Baildi".
