Children's smiles, happy voices, games, songs and dances filled the forecourt of the Metropolitan Church of Agios Georgios Paralimni, on Saturday, October 29, from morning to noon as part of the celebrations of the Repatriation of the relics of Agios Georgios the Trophy Bearer.
The entire event was graced by the presence of His Holiness the Metropolitan of Constantia-Ammochostos and our pastor, Mr. Vasileios, who spoke to the children, addressing them with his fatherly message. Also present were the priests from the parishes of Agios Dimitrios and Agia Varvara as well as All Saints Deryneia.
The children had the opportunity to play in the various games, enjoy sweets and draw their own design, learn First Aid, participating in many other activities.
A musical and artistic program was presented during the event.
In addition to the Catechetical Congregations of St. George, the Christian Women's Association, the "ANEMOESSAS" CHOIR, and the Catechetical Congregations of St. Demetrius and St. Barbara, the event took part in the event.
