A special tribute was made by Reporter's "Omada" for Father Iraklis and his love for the Paralimni Youth Union.

According to the tribute, he is one of the fans who live and breathe for their team and in every game they are there, on the concrete, to watch and push this great love of their own.

The reason, for Father Hercules. The priest for whom the whole of Paralimni drinks water in his name, since above all he is a human being. A man who is daily in the church but also in the stadiums, since as he confesses on our website, omada.com.cy"As much love for the church as I have for my team, Union".

In a very interesting interview given to us by Father Iraklis, he comments on how he lives in every match of the Union, how the people in the stands treat him as a priest, as well as the fan card.

At the same time, the priest of Paralimni, remembers the last match of his team with Alki, where the stay in the lounges of the A 'category was judged in the last minutes of the match. "Once they scored our second goal, it was like I lost the ground under my feet! I do not hide from you that I constantly begged Saint George to perform his miracle ", describes, among other things, Father Iraklis.

"I try to go unnoticed, I live every game intensely"

"The Paralimni Youth Union is the team of my heart. It is the only team I support, there is no second team for me. The more love I have for the church, the more love I have for my team Union ", was the initial comment of Father Hercules for the team of his heart, to then add how he lives each match. "I try to go unnoticed in every game. For 90 minutes I am constantly in agony and tension because I want my team to win. I live every game intensely ".

The last match of the Union, where the team's stay in the last minutes of the match against Alki was judged, was something that no one from Paralimni will forget, like Father Iraklis. "It's a game that will stay etched in my mind. A fight that had a lot of agony. As soon as they scored the second goal, it was as if I lost the ground under my feet! I do not hide from you that I kept begging Saint George to do his miracle. However, I did not see the goal we scored. I saw it later on TV ".

Regarding the fan card, Father Iraklis states that “the only positive thing from the time they put the fan card was the reduction of the teams' fines. I believe it is a good measure to attract our stadiums, families, small children as it is done in European games ".

"When we were in Category B I had a huge problem"

On how people treat him in the stands as a priest and how easy it is for him to attend the stadiums, Father Iraklis commented: “I have no problem. People have been watching me in the stands for years. When we were in Division B I had a huge problem because the games were around 4:00 in the afternoon and I had a problem with the mysteries. Fortunately, in the First Division, I am completely comfortable with the hours of the games ".

However, the match that was engraved in the memory of Father Hercules is the one with Aris in Paralimni, where the graduation was judged. "I will never forget the game with Aris in Paralimni a few years ago, where the graduation was played! I remember filling "Tassos Markou" with children, women, of all ages to support our team to stay in the category ".

Closing the interesting interview, Father Iraklis wanted to send his own message to the football world. "Football is the king of sports and we must go to the stadium with a smile and an open heart to enjoy his team each! In football one always wins. "As much as football has problems, prejudice must leave us."
