A 39-year-old Egyptian man was arrested by the Police after a citizen operation while harassing underage girls.
According to information, on Sunday, July 26, 2020, on the beach of MMAD in Protaras, a 39-year-old Egyptian in one case allegedly committed an obscene act against a 14-year-old girl, while he tried to harass other underage girls.
The 39-year-old was noticed by the father of one of the minor girls, who belongs to the body of the Fire Service and was at the beach with his family off duty at the time and intervened by restricting him and calling the Police.
Members of the Police arrived at the scene, handcuffed him and placed him in custody in order to appear before a Court.
The case is being investigated by the Police and the Office for Combating Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Minors.
