The legal autopsy on the body of the 50-year-old was performed today by the Medical Examiner Sophocles Sophocleous at the Larnaca General Hospital and according to the findings, the death of the man is due to a myocardial infarction.

It is recalled that Panagiotis Ioannou, 50 years old from Nicosia, was found dead yesterday morning by his wife in the caravan with which they were vacationing in the area of ​​Kapari in Paralimni.

According to the Police, around 09:30 yesterday, Thursday 16/8, information was received about a dead person in the area of ​​Kapari in Paralimni.

Men from the Paralimni Police Station and the Famagusta Police Department went to the scene and found that the 50-year-old and his wife were vacationing in their caravan, which was parked in an open area in the coastal area of ​​Kapari in Paralimni.

The deceased is Panagiotis Ioannou, 50 years old from Nicosia. The police examinations did not reveal any external injuries, as a result of which the criminal act was ruled out.

An ambulance was called to the scene and transported the 50-year-old to the General Hospital of Famagusta, where the doctor on duty confirmed his death.

The Paralimni Police Station is investigating a case of sudden death.
