The President of Onisilos Sotira expressed his strong reaction to the decision of the sports judge of the KOP.
In his statements to Famagusta.News, Costas Pouros stated that tonight's sentence of cutting off all sponsorships of the KOP from the sports club of Onisilos Sotiraras was exhausting but also unfair as the team is not involved in any way in a red file.
He also said that with this decision, the already existing financial difficulties that the Association is going through will increase, without excluding the risk of its closure.

It is recalled that the Athletic Judge of the KOP, Aristotelis Vryonidis, after studying the references he had before him to UEFA's reports on suspicious betting activity in matches, imposed penalties on a total of six teams regarding cases of suspicious betting activity.
Specifically, the complaint against ONISILLOS Sotiras concerns a suspicious betting activity, after being informed by UEFA, in the match of the 2019nd Division Championship of the 2020st Phase, 11nd Group of the period 01-2020 and at 14:30 (13th Competition) in violation of article 10.il (1), (2), (3), (4), (5), (6) of the Disciplinary Regulations of the K.O.P as it has been added to the Disciplinary Regulations of the CFP by decision of the Board of Directors dated 16/04/2019 and its validity was notified with the circular 0155/2018 - 2019 on 17/04/2019.
