The second new five-star luxury hotel in Limassol is located near Ancient Amathus, in the area of Agios Tychonas and the name of Amara is inspired by ancient Greek and the word amaranth, what does not wither, never dies, the eternal. The luxury hotel overlooks the sea and has 207 rooms while the top floor will have a two-storey suite. The hotels will have high-end restaurants.

Another major tourist resort is expected to open its gates in 2019. It is the Sun City Spa Resort & Residences, the cost of which exceeds € 50 million and is the first complex tourism development complex in the area that combines residential units and five star hotel. The construction works of the project, which started in June 2017 near the Ayia Napa Marina, are estimated to be completed by the end of 2019.
