"With feelings of emotion, I accepted the invitation to attend and greet the naming ceremony of the Multipurpose Hall of the Xylofagos Regional High School, which from today is dedicated to the memory and will be named after a great young man, Marios Frangos.
The Management, the Teachers' Association and the students of the Xylofagos Regional High School with the contribution of the President and the Members of the School Ephorate organize this modest event, as a minimum sign of appreciation, love and respect for a new model, with whom they collaborated excellently. they have to remember, each one individually, moments that will remain indelible in their memory.
In the context of today's event, the Teachers' Association together with the involved bodies, implement their unanimous decision, for naming the Multipurpose Room in "Marios Frangous" Room, thus sealing the mental presence and its exemplary form in the space. School, of which he was a student and later a collaborator.
The choice of this room acquires additional value, since on his own initiative it was created by students, whom he himself creatively employed as a school collaborator, within the framework of the alternative program.
Marios Frangous was distinguished from a young age for his academic and athletic performance and stood out for his ethos. He was an active and active child with rich social and charitable activities. He studied Computer Science and collaborated as part of the alternative program with Xylofagou High School, which felt like a welcoming and familiar place. He did so with love, zeal and enthusiasm, performing his duties to the fullest.
More and more, the children he worked with and had a special relationship with, recognized the charismatic personality, the quality, the simplicity and the modesty of his character.
An approachable and dignified man, who exercised his function with faith and devotion, guided by the selfless offer to his fellow man. His students, with whom he maintained excellent relations, received daily valuable knowledge, sincere interest and generous love, and reciprocated Mario's moral satisfaction with progress, performance, respect and appreciation for his person.
Equally remarkable was his contribution to sports, which stood out in practice through his active action and his participation in many important events.
His short but so comprehensive passage in life was the result of a proper and complete education he received, primarily, from his excellent parents. Both the father and the mother raised Mario with tenderness and love and cultivated his character with valuable virtues and values, which he transformed into deeds. Acts of philanthropy and charity that demonstrated the sensitivities you had towards those in need. These people are worthy of congratulations and an example to follow, because despite their tragic loss and deep pain, they discreetly carry out important social work, which gives courage and rests vulnerable groups of our fellow human beings, who need our support and encouragement.
In this direction, particularly important initiatives are being implemented by Ms. Androula Frangous and in the specific School, where she serves for years as a teacher, but also through the Charitable Foundation that was created in honor of the late Mario.
Undoubtedly, in this way the memory and the form of a person whose basic concern in life was generosity and respect for people are preserved unchanged, in a unique and unrepeatable way.

The choice to give the name of Mario to the Multipurpose Room of your school unit is of particular importance and contains multiple lessons for students, teachers and for each visitor individually.
The late Marios Frangous, despite his relatively short presence in this school, proved that he had all the characteristics that make up a good teacher. His professional training, his creative thinking, his efficiency, the spirit of cooperation, the essential communication, which is the foundation of his education and training, his ethos, were some of the special features that distinguished him and which will continue to are a source of inspiration for his family, friends, athletes, colleagues and students.
In conclusion, I would like to express my warm congratulations to the Management and the Teachers' Association of the Xylofagos Regional High School for the initiative of today's event. I also warmly congratulate the teachers who supervised the program of the event, as well as the students for their participation.
Let the memory, which nourishes the present and fills the void, always accompany his own people and guide the path of his students and all those who loved him and set him high in their consciousness, as a model of a worthy man.
