The community of Xylofagos has been dressed in black since the tragic death of a 17-year-old student in a car accident.
Another young man, Ioannis Egglezou, lost his life on the asphalt after a car accident on Friday night.
According to the Police, while the 17-year-old was riding his large motorcycle around 23.45 on the parallel road of the Larnaca-Ayia Napa highway, about 300 meters from the Xylofagos Industrial Area, under conditions that are being investigated in a right turn, he lost control, resulting in a motorcycle. He crashed into the metal guardrail of the highway on the left, resulting in his fatal injury.
He was transported by ambulance to the Clinic of the Dhekelia Base where his death was confirmed. The Englishman did not wear a protective helmet.
