A 38-year-old man was dragged dead, who was swimming with his mask, in the area of ​​"sea caves" in Kavo Greko in the area of ​​Famagusta.

It was around 11:50 on Tuesday morning when police received information about a man who lost consciousness while swimming in the area. He was spotted by a friend who was with him in the area and together with other bathers they managed to get him ashore.

Immediately arrived at the scene, Police patrol and Ambulance. They tried to give him first aid in the hope of bringing him back to life, but this was not possible.

The unfortunate 38-year-old Bulgarian was transported to the General Hospital of Famagusta, where he was pronounced dead.

At first sight, the Police have ruled out the possibility of criminal action, while the legal autopsy on the body of the unfortunate 38-year-old will take place on Wednesday morning to determine the causes of death.
