Book Presentation and Photography Exhibition

An original book with descriptions and photographs of forty-four beaches of free Famagusta is presented at the Famagusta Gate in Nicosia by Andreas Papadopoulos…

Starting from Agia Thekla and ending in Kappari, in the guide book are presented with a complete description all the interesting points of the coastline of this beautiful province. The text contains information about the morphological characteristics of each beach, their suitability for children and people with special needs, the services offered as well as access instructions. Each point described is accompanied by representative photographs taken from the air and ground, thus giving the reader a complete picture. The book also provides useful and interesting information related to the sea in the form of questions and answers, such as information about the life of the Caretta-Caretta turtle and the Monk-Monk seal, which are found in the area.

The book highlights the beauty of the area and at the same time reveals to the reader hidden treasures that he can easily visit and enjoy. The photos sometimes remind of deserted, unspoiled beaches with crystal clear waters, sometimes they immortalize the wide range of marine activities and sometimes they enchant through the wonderful nature that surrounds the beaches of Cyprus.

The first edition of the book is in English and is available in both soft and hard covers. The book contains 110 pages and has dimensions of 23x22 cm.

The event will feature 130 photographs representing the forty-four beaches and highlights of the coastline of free Famagusta.
