British tourists were honored for their 44 visits to Ayia Napa

British tourists were honored by the Municipality of Ayia Napa for the 44 visits they made to the area.

A written statement states that "the Municipal Councilor and Chairman of the Municipal Tourism Committee, Antonis Christou, described the British Joyce and Les Bainbridge as the best ambassadors of Ayia Napa in the United Kingdom".

Giving the British a commemorative plaque and the title of Ambassador of Ayia Napa Tourism, Mr. Christou said that their 44 visits to the area "prove the magnitude of their love" in Ayia Napa and "this is the catalyst for its emergence in one of the most remarkable tourist destinations in the Mediterranean ".

He also expressed the satisfaction of the Mayor and the Municipal Council for the awarding of the title and the plaque and noted that "the long list of names of tourists who have been honored proves that the number of sincere friends of Ayia Napa is growing."
