An event dedicated to road safety entitled "Why should it happen to me" was organized last night by the Community Council of Avgoros and the Traffic Department of the Famagusta Police Department.
The event was attended by the Chief of Police Mr. Zacharias Chrysostomou and the Secretary of the Council of Ministers, Mr. Theodosis Tsiolas.
Members from the team of the "George Mavrikios" foundation spoke as well as the Head of Road Safety of the province of Famagusta, Sergeant George Dimitriou.
The event was preceded by a trishagio in memory of the victims of road accidents in the Community of Avgoros.
