With a foreign card, the British paid for their expensive accommodation in a hotel in Ayia Napa.

In particular, it was reported to the Famagusta Crime Investigation Department by a hotel booking manager in Ayia Napa that on 15 July, a 37-year-old woman from the United Kingdom made an online booking for a period of one week for 2 other Britons aged 22 and 29.

The cost for the above accommodation amounted to € 1.596 and the 37-year-old paid her payment by credit card.

However, on September 20, the hotel was informed by the credit card payment service that the transaction in question was not accepted by the bank card holder and that it was a fraud, as the cardholder was another person other than the 37-year-old in which was refunded and the amount.

Arrest warrants have been issued against the three and they are wanted.
