RECIPES: Baked lamb with potatoes

Ingredients for 4-6 people

- Salt Pepper
- oregano
- 1 1 / 2-2 kg diced potatoes (or regular potatoes)
- 2 red peppers cut into small pieces
- 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary leaves
- 1/3 of a cup of olive oil
- 2 kilos of lamb shank
- 4-5 medium cloves of garlic

Implementation

1. Put salt, pepper, oregano in a bowl, mix well and cut the garlic in half. With a small knife we ​​make holes in the meat and with our finger we put in each hole a little of the mixture of salt and pepper and then half a clove of garlic. Do the same until all the garlic is done.

2. Sprinkle the meat with salt, pepper, oregano and place the sweet potatoes together with the peppers in the pan around the lamb.

3. Pour the olive oil over them, lightly season with salt and pepper and sprinkle with oregano and rosemary leaves.

4. Pour a little hot water on the bottom of the pan and cover it with foil. Bake at 180 degrees with top and bottom resistance for about 1 hour.

5. Uncover it and cook for another 30 minutes in the air, until the lamb and potatoes are golden brown.
