The Holy Metropolis of Constantia and Famagusta announces that, next Monday, April 18, 2016 at noon will be transferred for the first time to the Holy Monastery of Agios Kendeas in Avgorou, a piece of holy relic of Saint Kendeas which is kept in the Holy Monastery of Kykkos for their blessing our province, in view of Holy and Holy Week.
The holy relic will remain in the Holy Monastery for worship until the night of Palm Sunday, April 24, 2016.
The Monastery will be open daily from 8:00 in the morning until 8:00 in the evening, while the following services will be held at the same time:
- On Wednesday, April 20, 2016, at 5:00 pm, the Prayer to Agios Kendeas.
- On Friday, April 22, 2016, 8:30 a.m.-12: 30 p.m. Vigil
- On Saturday, April 23, 2016, after the Vespers, the Holy Eucharist will be celebrated.
- The holy relic will leave after the wedding ceremony on Sunday night.
