A grenade exploded in the early hours of the morning at the home of a 40-year-old woman in Xylofagou, who is serving in the National Guard. A spokeswoman for the Police Press Office said a 40-year-old woman called the police and said that around 2.20 today she heard a loud noise in the house where she lives with her 12-year-old daughter.
When the 40-year-old came out of her house, she found several damages at the front entrance of the house and mainly on the walls.
The case is being investigated by the Xylofagou police station.
