Children teach us

A few days ago one night, while the family was getting ready to sit down to dinner, one of the five children, a seven-year-old boy, took a deep dish from the kitchen and began to put in some food from each dish. Parents and siblings looked at the child with wonder…

When the father asked the child why he was doing it, he replied: “Father, there are three children in my class who come to school fasting. Their fathers have been unemployed for six months now. I will put the plate in the fridge and tomorrow I will take the food in them ".

This was done in a school in Greece. Yes, along with the organized efforts to feed and clothe tested souls, there are individual-centered, tacit acts of support and solidarity of incalculable psychic value. And at the forefront of love is the childless soul.

Let us all see this and especially the politicians and their various collaborators, who with their irregularities led the unfortunate Greece to hunger and humiliation. But where do they all see it? They suffered invariably like Papadiamantis' Frangogiannou (Fonissa), who killed young children thinking she was benefiting them. But the time will come when they will die in the passage of "Agios Sostis" halfway to divine and human justice.
