Book Festival is organized by the Municipality of Deryneia, the Nicosia Book Fest and the Press and Information Office, on Sunday, October 8, at the Park of the Municipal Amphitheater of Deryneia.
A written statement states that "the organizers, recognizing the need for actions that will promote the book and its value, which will provide an alternative proposal for contact with the fascinating world of books, hold the Book Festival in Deryneia, in collaboration with Municipality in the context of the continuous upgrade of activities for the promotion of books and literacy, especially among young people ".
Bookstores and publishing houses will participate in the Festival, while there will be a second-hand bookstore, a book presentation space, a discussion area, a children's corner and more. The Festival will close with the musical performance "That dragons in Cyprus are nothing else" with Marina Katsari and Vangelis Getto.
