Ayia Napa: New arrest of a woman for selling laughter gas

Police arrested a 28-year-old woman who was selling laughing gas in Ayia Napa in the early hours of the morning.

According to a representative of the Press Office of the Police Headquarters, members of the Famagusta Police Department, while patrolling in Ayia Napa, located the 28-year-old holding a metal bottle, which had two orifices, one of which had a balloon and the other a canister for ampoules.

The 28-year-old was placed under surveillance and was seen approaching passers-by to sell laughter gas. It was searched and in its possession was found 1 canister, 26 ampoules, 29 empty balloons and a sum of money.

The 28-year-old was arrested for trafficking a banned drug product.
