One of the targets of the Serbian executors, Alexis Mavromichalis, known as Alexoui, is testifying today at the hearing for the quadruple murder committed on the night of June 23, 2016 in Ayia Napa.

It is noted that Alexoui was the first target of the mass murders in the case of the Serbian executors.

In the area of the Court, as always, there is a strong force of the Cyprus Police both inside and outside the building, under the fear of incidents.

The 4 accused are accompanied during their transfer to the room of the Criminal Court by armed police officers of the MAAD, who are by their side throughout the process.

Police officers from various services of the Force are also in the courtroom.

The process started shortly after 9 in the morning. The defense attorney of Marios Christodoulos, another Benis, objected to what the witness testified. He argues that this is not a testimony of facts, but the suspicions and conjectures of the witness. He has also produced books for speaking.

Mr. Pikis, moreover, speaks of an audible testimony, which can not be proved and is not in the interest of the administration of justice. The lawyer characterizes the testimony of the witness as vague.

The procedure has been stopped and the Court is expected to decide whether or not to accept the lawyer's objection. If the objection is accepted, then lines 26 - 35 will be removed from the deposit, for which an objection is raised.

Fire deposit from Alexoui

The process resumed shortly after 11.30. The Court rejected the request for objection in order for Mavromichalis not to file. The Court stated that suspicions are indeed expressed in conjunction with the facts. The Court rightly points out that the Investigative Authorities moved in the right direction. Hearing testimony is therefore not ruled out.

According to what Alexoui testifies before the Court, as possible suspects for the murder are George Fenek and Andreas Rodotheou. Mavromichalis mentions that Pentavkas is a best man with Fenek and they wanted to get Fanos (Kalopsidiotis) out of the way.

Fanos Kalopsidiotis, says Alexis Mavromichalis, considered them the moral perpetrators of his father's murder. The accused Marios Christodoulou (Benis) threatened his wife, says Alexis, when he was pregnant, that he would kill her in the woods wherever he found her. Benis, he adds, had friendly relations with Rodotheos and Fenek, with whom we have differences.

Regarding the planned murder in his face, Alexis Mavromichalis stated that he learned information that they wanted to kill him. Interpol, he points out, knew about the descent of the Serbian executors, who had agreed with Benis, as he says.

"I did not know Pentaukas. But in discussions with Fanos, he considered him a suspect in the five-fold murder, but also in the murder of his father. They had hostile relations. Fanos believed that Pentaukas was trying to kill him. His employees had telephone conversations with the perpetrator of the five-time murder of Ayia Napa (Mamalikopoulos) and that he paid. Fanos claimed that the Serb accused was a confidant.

Mr. Pikis's first examination for Benis

During the interrogation of Alexis Mavromichalis, Benis's defense lawyer submitted to Mavromichalis that Benis had nothing to do with these people, nor did he organize anything.

Mavromichalis replied that he had and that in fact he gave him Rodotheos' phone. Mr. Pikis said that Benis does not know that Rodotheou and Fenek had differences with F. Kalopsidiotis.

Mavromichalis states that until 2012 Benis was a close friend of his and that he knew about false testimonies that he wanted to kill Fenek and Rodotheos.

"The police informed me that I was in danger and Fanos was in possession of the video with the arrival of the Serbs, as well as the recipient who was Benis and was arrested by the Occupation Authorities at the roadblock.

Mr. Pikis states that his client did not seek his physical extermination. The cross-examination by the defense attorney of the accused Pentaukas begins.

Alexis Mavromichalis stated that Fanos had a complaint from the investigative team of TAE Famagusta. He had even contacted for this reason, with the then responsible, George Economou.

Asked to answer the question of the differences between Rodotheos and Kalopsidiotis, Mavromichalis said that this goes back many years.
