The Ministry of Labor will announce programs in which the wage costs of the employees who went through unemployment and the Minimum Guaranteed Income in the labor market will be subsidized, in a few days.

Speaking on the show "Protoselido", the Minister of Labor Zeta Aimilianidou stated that at the same time with the subsidization of these employees, there will be internships in the workplace, so that, on the one hand, companies can evaluate them better and on the other hand acquire them themselves. the right skills for the job market.

"The task is not simple, but we must move forward because 'trapping' in bonuses is not the right thing to do," he added.

Asked about the next phase of the Minimum Guaranteed Income, Ms. Aimilianidou said that after the approval of all applications and despite the fact that every month the Ministry receives about 700 applications, at the moment there are about 5.000 beneficiaries of the EU.

He added that the second phase has been completed, which was the evaluation of "Care" for those who need additional daily or institutional care.

"This issue does not end in one period, as we have requests every day," he said.

The third phase of the reform, according to the Minister, is the activation of those recipients who are able to work.

"There are registered people who are able to work at this stage. "Those of them who do not have the appropriate skills, we have an obligation as a state to proceed with their training so that they can find work more easily."

"ATA is not abolished"

According to the Minister, there has been no issue for the abolition of the ATA in the recent discussions of the Minister with the social partners.

What is being discussed is how to calculate for the private sector from 2017, so that wages are adjusted depending on how expensive the goods are.

As he said, the discussion should definitely be completed by the end of 2016, as there are different positions and views that should be discussed. "From my experience over the years, I believe that even very difficult labor disputes have been settled responsibly by everyone. It would be a pity after such a difficult period to have any problems and not to have a workers' peace ".
