The number of burglaries in Sotira has increased dramatically lately, with several recorded incidents, both in the center and in the agricultural area. According to the latest complaints, there is an increase in the theft of batteries from tractors and the theft of batteries from premises that have a photovoltaic system installed.
There are also cases of burglaries from houses and holiday homes in the coastal area of Agia Thekla.
The Police calls on the people to be careful with the protection of their property and to report any suspicious incident to the Community Policing Officer, at 99393517, or at the Deryneia Police Station at 23803260.
