The Federation of Parents and Guardians of Public and Community Kindergartens of Famagusta, expresses its deep concern after the recent incident of child abuse in a special education unit in Paphos and the availability of a teacher, a speech therapist and a school assistant.
Although the incident seems to be isolated, our federation will closely monitor the operation and education in the Kindergartens of our province and together with the directors of our schools will intervene to prevent similar incidents.
Regardless of this and despite our concerns with the above incident, our Federation has the utmost confidence in the teachers of our province and is by their side for the best care and education of our children.
