About 1.1575 civil servants are expecting their promotion after the opening, which had been frozen for five years until the end of 2016.
According to an article in the newspaper "Phileleftheros", most of them, however, according to estimates are expected to retire as soon as they secure their promotion, in order to benefit from what the legislation provides for retirees.
This, however, is by no means "hoarse" for the Government, which through the whole process estimates that it will be able to reduce the total cost that will arise, which does not more or less reach 3,8 million.
As can be seen from the analysis of the data of the Department of Public Service and Personnel (BTI), it seems that from the filling of the vacancies that currently exist, there will be an additional cost of 2,7 million, while from the filling of positions vacancies that will be vacated, the annual cost that is estimated to occur reaches 1,1 million.
Asynchronous promotions, however, for all positions by the Public Service Commission (CBS), are expected to save the situation, with the total cost not directly burdening the state budget, while estimates show that the cost of promotions will be lower, due to early retirements.
