Fernando Santos has a first-class opportunity to test the strength of the National Team of Greece in view of Euro 2012, in tonight's friendly with Belgium at the Pankritio Stadium. The representative team will face the company of Kevin Miralas, a team that has nothing to do with previous years and is full of great footballers.

The Portuguese coach has stated that he has reached 60% in the final composition of the "blue and white" for the European Championship. Tonight, the federal coach has invited 23 players and is not preparing surprises for tonight's match.

Under the beams will sit Karnezis, who in front of him will have - from right to left - Torosidis, Papastathopoulos, Abraham Papadopoulos and Cholebas. In the center of the midfield will be Maniatis, Katsouranis and Fotakis (or Karagounis). Salpiggidis will be on the extreme right, Samaras on the left and Gekas at the top.

The mission is completed by Tzorvas, Kyriakos Papadopoulos, Spyropoulos, Makos, Christodoulopoulos, Lymperopoulos, Fortounis, Athanasiadis and Fetfatzidis. In contrast to the previous mission (for the friendly with Romania on November 15), Chalkias, Kapino, Giannoulis, Malezas, Theodoridis, Tziolis, Kone, Charisteas and Mitroglou were left out.

How the Belgians will fight

With a 4-3-3 system, Georges Lakers will line up Belgium against Greece. Specifically, Miniole will defend the home of the guests, who in front of him will have - from right to left - Alderweireld, Kompany, Vermaelen and Lomberts. Defour will play as a defensive midfielder, who will have Witsel and Fellaini ahead. On the left extreme will be Chatly, on the right Azar and Miralas.

The mission is completed by Courtois, Gillet, Vertochen. Seaman, Dembele, Nainggolan, Simmons, De Keller, Lukaku, De Braune and De Camago. Guillaume Gillet (Anderlecht) will not accompany the mission, as he will stay by the side of his ready-made wife, while Dries Mertens (Eindhoven) and Maarten Martens (Alkmaar) are injured.

Prehistory

There are few times when Greece and Belgium have clashed in the past. Six times the two teams faced each other and four of them were for friendly matches. Two rare statistics in these games are that a guest has never won, while in four of the six games between them, goals have been scored after 87 ′! The record is three wins of the blue and white, two of the Belgians and one draw.
