In his statements, the mayor of Ayia Napa, Mr. Karousos, stated that with the foundation of this project, the foundations for the change of the image of Ayia Napa will be laid. The goal, he said, is for Napa to become the most cosmopolitan resort in the Mediterranean by 2022.
He added that several hotels have already been upgraded, while the new ones will be luxury hotels. The beaches, the area of the monastery and the center of the village will be upgraded where a park will be built, but also the area of the night shops which is already in the drawing room.
