Investigations continue for the body found by a fisherman in the area of Agia Thekla in Sotira.
Speaking to Protoselidos, the Police Spokesman, Christos Andreou, said that due to the decomposition of the body, it has not yet been established whether it belongs to a man or a woman.
According to Mr. Andreou, today the prescribed autopsy will be performed in the presence of an anthropologist to determine the gender, age of the body and the time it was at sea.
Mr. Andreou stated that since yesterday patrols have been carried out in the sea area to locate evidence without finding anything so far.
