Speaking at a dinner hosted by President Anastasiadis at the Presidential Palace, Lavrov said Russia was committed to continuing efforts within the international community and the UN Security Council to ensure that resolutions form the basis for two communities in Cyprus to reach a mutually acceptable solution with the aim of implementing all UN principles and decisions.
President Anastasiadis described Mr. Lavrov's visit as very important and very topical due to the developments in the Cyprus issue, noting that they had a very constructive and substantial exchange of views today.
