Livestock farms were damaged in the Sotiras livestock area when wild dogs attacked and devoured dozens of sheep. According to Mr. Kostas, owner of a livestock farm, at midnight on Thursday, about 4 dogs broke into his livestock farm and devoured 17 small sheep, 10 of which were found dead. The dogs also attacked nearby livestock farms, from which they devoured more than 20 sheep.

The case, which was reportedly investigated by Sotiras City Hall, is considered particularly serious, as the dogs belong to an owner who illegally keeps more than 25 dogs in an unsuitable fenced area, from which they often escape, causing damage to livestock facilities.

According to information, the City Hall of Sotira acted today as planned, and proceeded to confiscate the dogs by the owner.

The damage caused to livestock farms amounts to several thousand euros.
